An old-fashioned map on the street

An old-fashioned map on the street, Tokyo
This is a old-fashioned map set on the street and the map was written on the surface of coated tin plate. The characters on it have no Alphabet and it may seem to feel very strange for most people. Its plate will be unkind to travelers from oversea, but they are always welcomed!!

Almond in Roppongi

This is Almond, a cafe-cum-cake shop, where was and is very famous for a meeting spot in Roppongi, because the shop sits at the crossing point and very near subway station. But many people, incluing me, have not entered in this shop yet, though it is said to serve delicious cakes...

Shu-syu no meigetu, a day for the moon in the middle of autumn

Shu-syu no meigetu, a day for the moon in the middle of autumn, Tokyo
Today is Shu-syu no meigetu(中秋の名月), the year's most suitable day for enjoying seeing the moon all over the year. It is now not hot and humid so much and the air is becoming clearer than that in summer.

But the day, in modern days in Tokyo, may be suitable for seeing the artificial night view in Tokyo, also.

The Peninsula Tokyo

The Peninsula Tokyo
The Peninsula Tokyo
This hotel, The Peninsula Tokyo, was opened at 1st September. Perhaps as you know, the hotel came from Hong Kong.

Some super-luxury hotels came to Japan from all over the world in a few years: The Ritz came from Paris in 2007, Conrad Hotel from US in 2005, Mandarin Oriental Hotel from Hong Kong in 2005.

The website says The Peninsula Tokyo will cost you more than 600 USD per a person per a night at least!!

By the way, some chocolates sold at the Peninsula in Hong Kong, I hear, look very delicious and if the same is sold also at the hotel in Tokyo, I will rush into trying them!! Because I am a chocolate lover!

Just for relax...

Excuse me just for the personal thing. Grinding the coffee beams and making coffee then drinking it is one of the small things for a change. Cooking and cleaning for a short time also make me relax. But I wonder why my room is not so clean.... How about you?
