No, it's not New York. I am sure the photographer is sure also since he took the picture.

That appears to be the Tokyo or Japanese twin tower government buildings on the left.

Yes, the towers are standing in Shinjuku and I took photo at Roppongi Hills Tower in Roppongi, which sits a little apart from Shinjuku and is very tall. So I can take such photo at 49 floor of the building.

Yes, you are right!! The twin tower is Tokyo Metropolitan Goverment Tower and designed by Kenzo Tange, one of famous architect in Japan. Shinguku is one of popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo but the wind is always blowing through the towering builidngs.
