Wimbledon on cell phone

As usual, Wimbledon keeps me wake up all at midnight in early July, followed by Euro 2008. By the way, I am now watching it on the screen of my cell phone. A couple years ago, cell phones with TV in Japan are not getting uncommon. Cell phones are now just more than phones. The phones enable us to browse Internet, email, get on train, do shopping by built-in credit or debit card, watch TV, take photos and more. Now, we cannot go out without cell phones!!

The theme day: a sign "No...": No taking a leak here!

It is very very long time no writing and updating because I was busy a little bit....

When I knew this theme, I would eagerly like to share this holy and domestic sign. If you happen to go to Japan, then you may come across and see this at other places. This red object is the miniature of Torii, the gate to main building at shrines, where Japanese domestic gods live in. The wooden red one shows the entrance to the holy place.

But why is the miniature put on the outer wall on the street?? It shows "No passing water!!" and is thought to prevent the holiness of the gate from doing such nuisance. Most people think passing water toward the sign of the gate as sinfulness. People who doing firefighter toward the outer wall of houses at night used to be more ordinary scenery on Japanese street at night than now, but now I hardly see such signs and firefighters.

By the way, it is neither my photo nor took in Tokyo.(It was took in Kyoto). But I choose this because I want to introduce this funny sign.
