Sorbet in summer

It was rather hot today for June and the hot and humidity of Japanese summer go well with sorbet. Today after I went to sento, a public bath, I ate this sorbet. I felt that summer is surely coming.

June 2008 Theme Day: My corner local shop

Such vending machines might be very common in your countries, but the numbers in Tokyo are extraordinary, very "local". I guess the machines are far more than the real shops in Tokyo. So many machines, actually, keep us away from shops, when we would like to get just a few bottles or cans of beverage in summer. So I chose the machines, not any shops.
