Karaoke Box

Karaoke Box, Tokyo
Karaoke Box, Tokyo
This is called Karaoke Box, a shop where guests will rent a small room with a sofa and table for singing with friends. They usually sing some songs using the Karaoke machine, drinking and eating something. Karaoke Box is a typical entertainment spot for young people after having a dinner with friends.

But we can use this box in the other way. If we would like just to drink and rest relaxed in the middle of Tokyo after wandering around, the box will satisfy us. The fee during daytime is very reasonable, only about 1USD per person and per a hour, and the fee allows us to have an temporary private room.

Great idea and a lot of fun! Karaoke is popular here too but "the private room" has not caught on as much as it has in Japan. Nice narrative, thanks!

Hi Macky =O))

It`s funny this idea, close to sing?. I just do it in shower!!! =O)).

We have some karaoke place in Spain, really as a complement in a bar or pub, but they are not so popular as in Japan =O(. It seems we are more shy when we have to show our skills alive =O)).

Do you like sing and karaoke places?

Thank you for the comment:-)
I love to listen to music and go to club for dancing but don't like to sing so much because I am not good singer so much. When I have to go to Karaoke box, I will sing a few songs, one of which is "What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong.
