Nice shot. But I think the light is looking a bit creepy, though. It's green, like those scene in a horror movie. :S

You might not believe it, Macky, but in 1953, - 1956, most of the main streets in places like Sendai-shi had one light bulb at each intersection. No other lights anywhere. And no traffic lights.

It was a different world in those days and nothing like it is today. The old Imperial Hotel, in Tokyo was really nice. Frank Lloyd Wright designed it. I bought my wife a nice string of Pearls there in 1954.

I like your photograph of the green colored street light. I never saw anything like that before.

Thank you for the comments, emily and abraham!!

emily lin,
Perhaps you may see the ghost if you look at the photo carefully:-))

abraham,
You will know that Tokyo totally have changed if you can go to Tokyo. You bought a string of pearls in the Imperial Hotel?? Oh, wonderful!! The Imperial Hotel has changed and Wright's architecture is only left at the Imperial Bar in the Hotel. I seem to need to take the Imperial Hotel for your good old memory!!

I would appreciate the photo of the Imperial Hotel "today" as I know it has changed and no longer looks anything like the old one.

Thanks.
