Window eating

Many ordinary restaurants display these samples they serve. They looks yummy but you cannot eat them because they are not real and made of colored wax or something. They are more realistic than the real, indeed. If you go to Tokyo, why not doing "window eating", looking into glass windows of a restaurant just for entertainment and imagine eating them without actually eating??

I know window shopping. And I'm lovin' it. Now I know window-eating! Ok, that should be great for me who's going on diet. But I wonder would I get more hungry than ever, after seeing those mouth-watering food by just imagine eating them? :D

Some of the Japanese restaurants here also display samples they serve. It's too tempting!

if you carry little canisters of that "flavor spray" stuff with you, you can look and taste--simulate the entire experience. I first saw the window meals in New Orleans years ago. and it was a Sushi display.

Thanks for the comments:-))
Just looking may make you more hungry. By the way, there is a saying in Japan, "Hunger is the best seasoning." So "window eating" will make the "real" meal more delicious!
