Theme Day for the month of 1, August: Typical breakfast

I confess that it used to be hard for me to wake up in the morning. When I woke up late, I used to have such jelly breakfast. Only several tens of seconds are enough to have it, which seems to contain enough nutrition to start off the day.

Now such jellies are sold almost every convenience store and popular among business persons who wake up late and don't have enough time to have a breakfast slowly

To see what people in 100 cities around the world are enjoying for breakfast today, follow the links below.

there was a time in my youth when I could be out of bed, dressed and in the car on the way to work in 15 minutes - I often ate a Mars Bar [chocolate confection] during the journey -- those days are long gone.

I can't imagine eating jelly this way, it would be like a kid sneaking some from the refrigerator!

You know, a lot of people around the world don't make time to have a proper breakfast, so don't feel bad :)

I suppose these are similar to breakfast shakes/drinks.

I wonder what flavours these jellies come in? Are they all sweet or are some of them savoury?

Very interesting ... a different take on the "nutritional drinks" that are becoming so widespread.

Thanks for the comments:-))
They taste fruity, a little sweet, and not so bad.
