A small truck for collecting old papers to recycle

A small truck for collecting old papers to recycle, Tokyo
On the loading space of a small truck are piled up many bundles of old newspaper. These are collected to recycle them.

By the way, most of us don't buy newspaper at shops, like Kiosk or news stand, but shops of newspaper company deliver them to each house every morning. So old and waste newspapers are piling up everyday in our houses. The delivers collect the old paper about once a month in the house and change them into a roll of toilet paper. The collected paper will recycle and be used at some newspaper again in the near future.

I realized that Japanese people are very concerned about take care the nature. =O))

Here in Spain, we try to recycle paper, glass, and carton but it goes so slowly, I mean that many people don't recycle, or don't pay attention to this important fact.

We need more conscious about that...

Thanks for the comment, Raquel! Que tal?

Now we recylce paper, glass, steel can, alminum can... I hear that the recycle system in Germany is very well. As you think, we need to be friendly to the planet.

By the way, sorry for the dirty story in advance. In edo era, from 1600 to 1850, we had the ultimate recycle system. Guess what?? We sold and bought the excrement of mankind for the natural fertilizer. The ones of low ranking people were sold at low price and the ones of high ranking people at high price because high ranking people ate better foods than the low and 'produced' the good fertilizer.
