Soft cream

Soft cream
It is rather hot for the middle of June in Tokyo and such days go well with soft ice creams. I don't know whether or not this kind of ice cream is sold only in Japan. Do you happen to eat this ice cream in your country??

I'm from the U.S. We have soft serve ice cream cones here. During the summer all of the little ice cream stands open up. You can get soft ice cream or hard ice cream.

Thanks for the information! This ice cream, perhaps, came from US. By the way, I prefer plain milk ice cream.

This type of ice cream is quite common in Europa. Moreover, here in France, we call this sort of ice cream "glace italienne" (italian ice-cream), cause in fact, ice cream appeared around 1700, in Italia, then spread around. You should taste it in Italia, it's really the best you can find !

Thanks for the comments, ramblinground and meya.
And the informative history of ice cream!! I am rather surprised that ice cream born around 1700 and I think there are no refrigerator. I wonder how they could make ice cream in those days. Anyway, Italia seem to be the mother land of ice cream and I love Italian gelato, especially zuppa inglese!!

There is an ice-cream truck that comes by my apartment every day around 3 PM because there is a school down the street.
