Sunny day
It was very hot and sunny yesterday though it is in the middle of the rainy season. Since it was sunny, many women used their parasol and opened them to keep the sun ray off their face. They used the parasols because Japanese women prefer white skin.

I prefer it also. Young women with a tan turn into old women with shriveled, spotty, leathered, sun damaged skin.
Yes, UV rays will attack womens' skin in summer. Japanese men prefer brown skin because the brown looks healthy. In Tokyo there are many shops for burning their skin using machines. The shops are called 'Hiyake saloon'.
