like a ballet dancer dancing...
This is a shop selling chopsticks, hashi. Many chopsticks are exhibited and most of them are coated with Japanese lacquer, urushi.
Japanese chopsticks are made of wood; Korean are stainless or steel and Chinese are wood or bamboo or ivory(or something like ivory).
Some American said before, looking at Japanese using chopsticks at a restaurant,
"they use chopsticks as if a ballet dancer dances above a dish."

Nice sight and interesting comment of your American friend(?).
BTW. I haven't seen you at portal site recently... But your feed seems to be working ...
ben: Thank you for the comment. My blogs don't seem to work well at the portal site because I use the beta edition of blogger, Eric said. But I cannot change it to the normal edition. Now Eric are kindly trying to make things go well.

keropok man: Oh, you use all 3 kinds? Interesting! Do you choice the chopstick according to the cuisine? I use the stainless one in Korean restaurant.
Hi,
I posted enquiry to the forum, so hopefully Igor will pick it up.
Your 1/December post and others are stored on different server at blogger side. Most of our current post is drafted while we are at blogger (non-beta). Now I'm wandering if this photo server is affect the thumbnail creation. Your feed looks Ok to me. At lease, I can read with my firefox.
Oh, thank you very much for your kindness. I hope the problem will be solved soon, waiting for it like Ieyasu Tokugawa for a while:-)
I love this shot - it is definitely a glimpse into life that is different than my own. I'm afraid I would go hungry if left to using chopsticks. ;)
"Those chopsticks are really cool. I've been wanting to live in Japan, or at least visit. There are so many chopsticks, I can't count! :)" - my 7 year old daughter (almost 8) wanted to write this when I showed her your blog. Happy New Year!
