Takarazuka is a girls' operetta troupe and about a hundred years old. The troupe is composed of only 20's and 30's women. So they are to play male parts in the theater. Interestingly most of enthusiastic fans, "Okkake" in Japanese, are female.

They are one hundred years old!!!

Wowww, they must be so tired, and what a fabulous effect makes the anti-aged cream!!! =Op

Talking seriously now, it's very interesting, and I wonder if they appeared to take revenge on Kabuki's actors, since they are the contrary, all the troupe are male. I would like to see a Kabuki performance, is it similar to the Opera in Occident?. I like Opera =O).

By the way, "Okkake", is it the informal or colloquial way to say woman, isn't it?, I have only heard "onnano-hito" =O(.

Yes, as usual, many questions =O))

Allora, buona giornata caro Macky!!! =O))

Hola, Raquel!
Why did you know the next post of Kabuki?? You are right! Kabuki performers are all male.

I think that Kabuki looks like opera and that Takarazuka performance looks like musical performance. I prefer Italian operas to Germany ones.

Okkake is slightly an informal word and is used both for male and female. Okkake means groupie though Okkake is also used for men. By the way, the word, "Okkakeru" means to chase or follow.
