This is not an artwork but a part of steel frame changed in shape by the bomb in 1945.
By the way, today, the 15th, August, is the day when the World War II ended in Japan. No more war, conflict, terror...

Yes, here it is called VP Day (Victory in the Pacific), though rarely observed any more.
15 aug 1947 is also when India was given independence from the British.
