Looks like non-Japanese, part 1


These are neon of a disco in Roppongi, Tokyo. They absolutely feel like Western.

Well, the yen symbol does give it away. A little less that US $4 sounds pretty cheap for "all drinks" in Tokyo.

Many Americans think that Japan is so expensive they wouldn't consider going there. During a couple of visits in recent years, I have found that this is not necessarily so. Of course, you can spend huge amounts of money in Tokyo on hotels, restaurants and clubs. However, we found that if we go where normal Japanese people go, it was quite affordable. It does help to learn some Japanese (desu ne?).

I agree with strangetastes.

After long ressesion in 90's, the prices is not so much high, I think. Now I am going to London and very surprised at the ticket fee of the underground. Just only one ticket will cost me more than 1000 yen!
