This is a nice comparison and I miss the that crossing.

BTW, near the Marion (yurakucho), is there still little camera shop who almost specialised for Nikon? They usually has a great range of new and used equipment. I also spent lot;'s of time in Shinbashi area for those little used camera shop. All that comes to quite long time ago so wandering if there are still there...

四丁目交差点から、マリオンにかけては、比較的小さいカメラ屋さんがまだありますよ。たとえば、ソニービルの向かいの不二家のビルに、確かニコンのカメラ専門店があったはず。また、プランタンの近くにある教会のビルのうえにも、中古のカメラやがあったはず。

ちなみに、マリオンと有楽町駅の間の、ちょっとごちゃごちゃしたところは、新しく丸井のビルが建てられるため、再開発にあってその半分くらいの店がなくなりました。

新橋のカメラ屋というのは、ひょっとして日比谷口の第一ホテルの方にある大庭商会のことですか?まだ、ありますよ。

ちなみに、つい最近ニコンのD80を買いました。やっぱりニコンはいいですね。

Wow. Those pics are amazing. It's incredible to still see the same building there today with how old buildings in Tokyo get so quickly replaced.
