Entrance to the Metro

Metro, Tokyo
Inspired by Paris Daily Photo, I am posting the modern entrance to the Metro.

Glass is used as beams, though glass is not usually used as frame, and the glass-beams support the glass roof.

Thank you for the comments.

This is Yurakucho subway station just close to ex-Sogo in front of JR Yurakucho Station. Now Sogo department has changed into Bic camera. By the way, some days ago the store start to sell Windows Vista till midnight and some people rushed into the store to buy it.

ming: thanks. I think your blog is very informative about modern architecture in NYC. It would be very helpful for me if I have an oppotunity to go there.
